Tiffany’s interest in photography began at the age of 5, when she received her first camera. By age 10, Tiffany began taking pictures of her friends; a habit that followed her throughout her school years and early adult life. As a young teenager, she fell in love with black and white photography (especially the work of Richard Avedon). In 2006 Tiffany became a self-taught beauty and fashion photographer; with portraits, head shots, commercial and child photography adding to her roster in the years to follow. In 2013 Tiffany attended a weekend photography workshop with legendary photographer, Douglas Kirkland, who had this to say about her work..
"I love your work, I thought that immediately. I commend you on your technical quality. You have command of this process. I wouldn't be dishonest about something like that. I haven't seen one weak photo yet. They're all very, very well done. I really commend you. Beautiful work." - Douglas Kirkland
After years of shooting many photographic genre's, Tiffany now focuses on her true passions; black and white photography, portraiture and surrealism. Tiffany's studio is located in Surrey, BC (on the border of Langley) and rents studio space in Vancouver when needed. Her inspirations include photographers Douglas Kirkland, Richard Avedon, Greg Gorman, Annie Leibovitz, Sue Bryce, Eve Arnold, Sam Shaw and Bill Cunningham.
